i miss being little

i miss being little. i miss being carefree and just enjoying the little things in life because that’s all we knew. i miss the days when bed time was at 8:30 and staying up to 9 was exciting. i miss asking my mom to make me food because i was too little to know how. i miss climbing up the cabinets because they seemed like mountains. i miss running around playgrounds and playing in the sandbox. i miss those little adventures that you went on with friends in your backyard. i miss bike riding down the street. i miss rollerblading at the roller rink. i miss falling asleep in the car and getting carried inside. i miss my parents reading me bedtime stories. i miss waking up early just because you were so excited for the next day. i miss being little.
